Windows for the eco superstar

As you pull, slide or shove open your windows during this wonderful weather, take a look at what your working with. We rely on windows to protect our home from weather, hot and cold temperature, even UV rays that can damage interior furnishings. Windows have a come a long way since the Romans first started making them out of glass some 1900 year ago. With improved technology, local rebates and federal tax credits, this summer is a great time to replace your old and worn windows.

Popular window replacements include vinyl, wood and aluminum. While each has its own advantages, our vinyl windows combine incredible energy efficiency with affordability. Vinyl is low maintenance (never have to paint), is easy to clean, and stands up to Utah's sun very well.
We can of course install any window you would like, but with the utility rebates and ENERGY STAR tax credits available, we recommend the triple pane, Low E argon filled vinyl window. The rebates and tax credits more than pay for the difference between a double and triple paned window.

Low-E (low-emissivity) is a coating on the glass that reflects much of the radiant heat that passes through your windows every day. This will help particularly in the summer, when you are cooling the air inside and attempting to keep the sun and warm air outside. The spaces between the three panes of glass are filled with argon gas, a safe way to boost the efficiency of the window. The Low-E coating and the argon gas alone are nearly 100% more efficient than a single pane of glass.

New energy efficient windows add value to your home, increase curb appeal, and can really save you money heating and cooling your home. Our vinyl windows are affordable and can be ordered in a variety of colors. An estimate takes only a few minutes and as your new windows are being installed we'll help you fill out all the rebate and tax credit information.

Talk to you soon!
